Australia's Aid Program

The Theun-Hinboun Hydropower Dam in Laos, completed in 1998. Built with aid money from the Asian Development Bank, the second largest recipient of Australian aid, this dam adversely affected over 30,000 people, who still have not been adequately compensated. Photo courtesy of International Rivers.
