Become a supporter

Manna Gum seeks to live within the economy of God - frugally, ethically and through the generous sharing of abundance within the community of faith (2 Corinthians 8 & 9). Are we crazy?! Quite possibly, yes. But we are also sustained by the conviction that the great secret of God's economy is the presence of abundance where the world only sees scarcity.

The foundation of our support comes from people who are regular monthly supporters - people who share our conviction that fullness of life lies down a different way from the one we are being sold. If this is your conviction also, please consider becoming a monthly supporter. Our ministry is also significantly aided by those who have been able to make once-off donations.

In 2013, to cover our costs, we need:

• Twenty new monthly supporters who pledge $30 per month; or
• $8000 in once - off donations.

How to do it

Arranging Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Follow these steps to arrange an Electronic Funds Transfer online using internet banking (e-banking). Alternatively, some banks may be happy to set this up for you at the counter - just take the details at step 3 with you.

1. Contact your bank and register for online banking. Your bank will give you a PIN or Password which will enable you to logon to your personal bank account via your bank's website.
2. Once you have logged on, you will have an option to 'Make Payment', or 'Transfer Funds', or something similar.  This will enable you to transfer amounts from your account to the Manna Gum account.  You will be given options such as once-off payments, or recurring periodic payments (weekly, fortnightly, monthly), if you want to be a monthly supporter.
3. Details you will need of the Manna Gum Account:
   BSB: 633 000
   A/c No: 134 179 514
   A/c Name: Manna Gum Initiatives Inc.
4. Please give YOUR NAME as the 'Lodgement Reference', or 'Description' of the payment.  This will appear on the Manna Gum account, and helps us to identify where payments have come from.
